CEW West Coast Beauty Series: Affordable Luxury

Experts discuss affordable luxury beauty and adapting strategies for the new consumer mindset.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Cosmetic Executive Women will host its next event in the Women in Beauty Series – West Coast at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica. The event, Affordable Luxury Beauty: Adapting Strategies for the New Consumer Mindset, runs from 6:00 PM to 8 PM. Guest speakers include:

• Christina Hennington is the divisional merchandising manager for beauty at Target, the second largest discount retailer in the United States. Hennington’s areas of responsibility include managing Target’s skin care, bath, fragrance, cosmetics, and hair care businesses

• Susan C. Sweet is general manager, Neutrogena Corp., and is celebrating 15 years with Johnson & Johnson this year. Her key responsibilities include developing the strategic vision and operating plan for the business, creating marketing and advertising strategies that build market share and strengthen brand equity, creating and executing new product innovation strategies to drive growth, and developing talent and the organizational culture.
